Jane Phillip's Iris
The Iris yesterday morning were looking ready to burst open, and this morning this one did!
I was woken at 05.30 this morning by distant rumble of thunder. On looking out of the window I saw it had been raining, but had stopped. so got up made coffee, and switched the computer on to check the Met Office web site, to see there had been a stormy area passing us by.
Have had a busy if rather frustrating morning. I was hoping to get into the car wash this morning, but there was a queue already. Polling day today, to elect a counsellor onto the Devon County Council. So that done I drove around to S'bury's to pick up my script from Boots, and to do my weekly shop instead of after class tomorrow. Their petrol station was very busy as part was closed off, so haven't been able to fuel the car up.
Now to get my camera kit together as Sue is picking my and two other members of our Camera Club, and we are going across to Hartland Quay and the Thrift is out, and high tide around 21.15hrs tonight. Temperature
will have dropped to a comfortable 21-22'C from the 24'C here now. There is a bit of cloud building, so should be a good evening.
