THUMPER'S BREAKFAST

The rain will start soon (I've been looking at the weather radar) but it was sunny early this a.m. and as I looked out the kitchen window I spotted Thumper, the local Eastern Cotton-tailed Rabbit (Sylvilagus floridanus), was having some dandelion greens for breakfast...after which he headed for the bird-feeding platform (background) and cleaned up a few left over peanuts.  He does a good job on my dandelions...pretty well finishes off the peanuts as well.
