Whimbrel

There has been a Whimbrel in the nearby fields for a couple of weeks but today was the first time that I had the big lens with me when spotting it. Wind had picked up to over 40mph at this point so there is my excuse for it not being that sharp!!
It was a real mixture of weather today with a couple of heavy showers in a cold southerly wind but otherwise quite sunny.
