Mum & Dad - Buzzard Watch

The buzzards were both on the nest today.  Initially, I could only see the tail feathers of one.   Not the greatest of pics. It seemed odd because it wasn’t “covering” the eggs and was more visible than usual. Then the second one appeared.  I realised that  mum was back from having a meal and dad had been keeping an eye on the eggs. He got up, flew off, the mum settled down on the eggs properly.  She vanished from view as she is very low in the nest normally.  I was a bit worried that the nest might have been predated, because a couple of days ago I saw a buzzard taking out what looked like a chick.  Happily, I now think it was one of the parents who had brought a meal back to the nest and decided to eat it somewhere else.
