Whizzing Down

With the temperature predicted to reach 26°C today we opted for an easy walk along the river this morning and a short wander into the town in the early evening. The river path was reasonably shaded and there was a fair amount to interest the camera, including the water hurtling over the final small barrage, presumably glad to be free again. We thought that the river had been released at the end of the lake but it's been tightly controlled by a number of small barrages supplying small hydroelectric stations - and giving opportunities for fishing and watersports.
