Pondering the grass

We've cleared a whole lot of ground under some trees and are hoping the grass seed will take. Daily inspection at the moment to see of it will happen. 

We had to carry out a pre-summer task at the neighbours house today. The dog likes to go visiting our neighbour, however, he has just uncovered his pool for the summer and he was worried that if the dog went in, he might not be able to get out. So, we went and dunked the dog in the pool,one he found the steps he was fine, but I think given he has fallen into a canal and now been dunked in a swimming pool, his aversion to water has only increased. Boys thought it was great and were happily in the pool for a paddle - it isn't heated as it costs a fortune to do so! 

Enjoyed a lovely hot day, back to normal tomorrow.
