El Umbracle

It was cooler and cloudy this morning so we did what many other Valencians do on the 1st of May (national holiday in Spain) and had a lie in. Mr P decided to do some sketching in the morning and I opted for a walk to the Turia Gardens.
The sun came out after lunch, so we both walked to the City of Arts and Sciences. The Umbracle is a sculpture garden and landscaped walk that I enjoy sitting in to read or people watch.
