What a brilliant day I’ve had! Five of us drove to near Newcastle this morning and caught the metro into town, had an early lunch at the science museum before wandering down to the Utilita Arena in blazing sunshine to see the Torvill and Dean “Our Last Dance” show. The whole show was fabulous and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We booked our tickets in February last year and it was well worth the wait! Once back to the car we drove to a nearby carvery for a very convivial meal…I’m so blessed to have made some very good friends since moving here, they really are the best! A postcard in extras from the show but I was too busy watching to take many pictures.

Last night was a very convivial evening too with the WI…all this eating out isn’t good for the waistline, I’ll need to curb my intake this weekend.

My blip was sitting outside the Utilita and didn’t need anything other than basic editing done to it. Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting Abstract Thursday.
