Spoilt for choice today, but the kingfishers won the day for me because of the narrative. I can only imagine a domestic in progress. I rarely see a pair together and only occasionally with a fish. The male is on the right with the brown belt.

Before this the female had flown off in disgust, calling out with a distinctive rattle. The male sat there the whole time, with the fish in its beak as if taunting the female. I didn't see him share his meal.
