Snow!

The rain Chez M&B over the last few days has fallen as snow above about 1000m, and when I drove up to collect milk this morning I was greeted by the sight of blue sky and white mountain tops. One of those beautiful days in this lovely part of the world.

While I was away at the start of the week I woke each morning completely free of back pain, which was amazing. After two nights back in my slightly saggy bed, it is back (pun intended). 

Rather than spend a lot of money (which I don't have) on a new mattress I am swapping the beds around. The guest bed is not only much newer, but it is considerably more comfortable than the one in my bedroom. 

Why have I not moved them before? The shift entails some furniture rearrangements, thanks to the guest bed being a queen, and the old one being a double. However, my lovely neighbours are on standby to help me heft the wardrobe, beds and mattresses around tomorrow.

I am doing what I can do before they arrive, very slowly, very steadily, and already with a wee nap or two. It is good to feel up to doing something again.

Screen time is still limited, although slightly increased...
