“They took my mouth”

My sweet grandson Z , known as Zgossling on blip , had oral surgery today and his first experience with numbing and the laughing gas etc. After the surgery he remarked that he felt like they’d taken off his mouth!!His two back teeth were blocking so his adult ones couldn’t come in.
So he was home recooping today and I made this funky abstract using a picture of an orange azalea and two images of Z with gauze in his mouth etc . He handled it all well and asked for chocolate peanut ice cream upon awaking:).
Lots of May Day protests were going on today of which we supported from home. We were here in case Z needed extra tlc and my left hip is too wonky to walk right now so I’m resting. Link included to Oregon protests.
