Pip
And her stick. After morning dog walk off to the shops early to get a food shop in. Plus our wholefoods shops for other supplies we were running low on. Then I was relieved to get home and sit out on the deck with a coffee to decompress. Just as I finished husband called and wanted me to switch on the main electric fence at the house. Which immediately didn't reach him although I found by hearing the clicking shorting noise the issue by the house so he came to sort it out. I then got my sewing machine out. I've had it for months and had a fear of using it! Anyway the mosquito net curtains we hang on the outside door frame had a couple of repairs needed plus I needed to sew some material on the bottom as Callan is a door pawer and so would easily tear it up if left unprotected. I hope it's a big enough bit of material and in the right place time will tell I'm sure. Considering I haven't used a sewing machine since high school 30 years ago it came back easily and the new machine is simple to use even on difficult fabrics. I also hung the bug zapper in the covered porch to catch flies and mosquitos that gather there. All felt a pressing issue since I noticed a few mosquitos outside last night. These things are easy set up when you aren't being eaten alive by them that's for sure. The heat really got up to 25c today. I have managed to avoid doing any garden digging I suppose I better get back at that tomorrow!
