A little green spider with a black back
I felt a little tickle on my arm while I was sitting in the garden. Thank goodness I looked, rather than scratching it. And found this amazing little spider. I suppose about the size of the nail on my forefinger, including legs. I’ve looked on Seek, Google and Google Lens and can’t find anything remotely like it. Perhaps I’ve found a new species - henceforth to be known as Arachnid Soozsnapz.
In the morning I went with my friend M to Tyntesfield - our regular arrangement. It was a beautiful walk - trees, shrubs and flowers. And very warm. We had two glasses of water each with our coffee when we got to the café:) M is in a similar situation to several other friends and cousins. Her husband ( of 50 years) is developing dementia, and her life is curtailed by being his carer. When we’d been together for 2 hours he rang to say he didn’t know where she was, and would she come home. Unfortunately he gets angry quite often, out of frustration of course, and this all comes out at her. Her daughters and friends can support her as well as we can manage, but it’s a hard situation.
I’ve added an extra of another wisteria - this time in the grand National Trust gardens - with views of the north Somerset hills in the distance.
I remembered to vote. Really frightened by the rise of the far right.
