Friday social

As Martin was off today, we had a lovely day socialising in Portobello, firstly, with our friend Jay (breakfast at Otto) and then with our friends, Amber and John (lunch at the Portobello Beach Bar). 

Amber and John gave me my delayed birthday present of a jigsaw board which can be hidden underneath the sofa when not in use. This is useful, especially, since the jigsaw of Old British Brands arrived yesterday (noted previously in Blip as the community jigsaw in Prestonpans library). They also gave me a jigsaw too. 

Now back home and nodding off with a cuppa and cat on my lap. It’s amazing how socialising can make you feel quite tired. That said, it was great to catch up with everyone, and we also got our 10k plus steps in.
