Sweet as honey

It's exactly a week ago that I photographed the opening sheaf of buds of the Sicilain honey lily (Allium siculum). It is in the extra just to remind you.

They are now mostly opening and looking rather sweet in the late afternoon sunshine, with bits of cobwebs and seeds attached. For Anni's Flower Friday!

We've been outdoors all day. It's been just perfect! Happy weekend everyone.
