The Crow's Tea Time
A really warm day to end April. Popping up in my memories was a snow covered scene from the 30th April 2016, here. That was a chilly day. Windows open from the off to get relatively 'cool' air in to the house. A nice morning walk through the park in the wooded areas. Nice in the shade. The wild garlic flowers are appearing now along with some bluebells.
After work, a walk to Braidburn Valley again. Still very warm. Main blip shows a crow in the stream We thought is was just wading in there to keep cool. Instead its beak was thrust in to the water and it caught something, you can see the bulge just below the beak. Once it had returns to the the bank of the stream, it placed its catch on the ground and held it while feeding. Walk home where partner decided to put soil / compost in her new planter. I had the chore of visiting the big wine shop to buy wine for Wine Wednesday.
