Friday: Merville’s Garden

Earlyish start this morning, I had a haircut booked at my friend’s salon but I parked my car and went for a walk along the street first - haven’t done this for a long time.

Popped into one of the 3 charity shops and bought 3 books - they’ll be a Blip if I’m short of ideas!

A gentleman came up to me, introduced himself and I was transported back to 50 years ago when I was a draughtswoman in the County Water Department and the man’s wife was one of my friends in the wages department, such happy memories :-)

Lovely chat with my friend whilst he cut my hair then a look around his garden which has rewilded itself and he loves it!

Groceries at Asda then home for lunch.

Washed a load of dark clothes and got them dried too!!
