Crimson clover cover crop

This morning I took R to St Hilary because she wanted to see the art in the church. Inside St Hilary church it's quite dark and I didn't want to use flash, so I didn't snap anything there. We had an early lunch at the Orangery cafe, then I took R to the station to catch her train back to Paddington. We have had a wonderful time.

Later on I went to investigate a field which I had noticed turning red. It's a crop of crimson clover which will fix nitrogen back into the soil. As this is for Flower Friday I've used the detail shot as the blip and the view of the field as the extra. Thank you Anni BikerBear for hosting.
