An afternoon of delightfulness…….

………spent in Blipper Hanna4home’s wonderful garden, which she has created over the years.
A place to relax and completely unwind with so many beautiful nooks and crannies to explore.

We just sat and caught up for a few hours!
Having mugs of tea and the occasional visit from Trevor the cat, who sat on my knee at one point but not for long, I was privileged.
Various birds visited the feeders, including a beautiful Jay, amongst the Bluetits Great-tits and a Robin.
At one point a lovely Song Thrush appeared for a short while.
I also was amused at the antics of the regular squirrel visitor, who has to lift up a hinged plastic lid on a large glass container of peanuts and stick his head inside to get at them. As the stock goes down in the jar he has to squeeze himself further in!
As I left to drive home I felt like I’d been on holiday for the day.

On arriving home again I was pleased to see Stephen had been relaxing in the summerhouse and looked all the better for it.
The washing all dried outside once more today and although it started of with lots of cloud and a chilly breeze, the sun came out just before lunchtime and the sky cleared.
The temperature today was around 19C and warmer in sheltered spaces.
