1,2,3... Jasper up a tree!

She spent a day alone and was very pleased when we arrived home hot and bothered last evening. Just in time to cast a vote.. only 43% turnout here in this village.. less over the whole region. We travelled back late in the day and hit a huge thunderstorm near Gloucester.. glad it didn't soak us when we stopped at the service station.. narrowly missed us there. 
We squeezed through a roadwork sign and they let us through which was kind.. we arrived one minute after it was closed we were very grateful as the diversion would have added another half hour onto our journey. 
It has been a more manageable warmth today.. I am absolutely exhausted so am drinking gallons of water which we have not done enough of while away. 
Diggers and roofers next door.. hoping we will not have them banging and crashing all weekend.
