Flower Friday

Well, it's all of five days since I last blipped poppies, and it's Friday. Thanks BikerBear! 

S is not so calendar-ready today, owing to slipping on some gravel while out running and returning home with a gashed knee and various other scrapes and bruises. In an efficient division of labour, he cleaned it up and slathered it with Betadine, while I brought him tea and biscuits. The first aid kit has been deployed effectively, but it's possible he might need a trip to the doctor tomorrow to stick it together better.

Earlier we had lunch in the garden again -- I made a delicious escalivade. But it clouded over and got a bit chilly, hence an early return home. It did actually rain a bit mid-afternoon, and more rain is forecast tomorrow.
