Had a pre-breakfast walk with the hound.   

Post-breakfast market shop before meeting my other bestie Anna for coffee, catch-up and book exchange. 

Back home news dribbling in on election results.  Heard the most pertinent comment on the radio, I believe from a journalist but I may be corrected there:  'With victory comes responsibility.'  

It appears some voters are mightily confused regarding their vote.  Voting for a party with sound policies and evidence of that rather than being a one-track pony is irrelevant.  Clearly there is dissatisfaction.  Time will demonstrate  . . .

Spent the afternoon reading in the garden -again.  Now reading The Rest of Us Just Live Here by Patrick Ness.  Thoroughly enjoyed my first Patrick Ness encounter A Monster Calls.

Risotto with broad beans and mushrooms for dinner.
