Brown Hare

High winds again so I took a bus to Birsay. From the RSPB hide at The Loons, I watched six hare chasing around on rough grass by the marsh. This forced a couple of nesting snipe into the air, and nesting greylags were outraged and chased off the hares. The picture is of one directly opposite the door of the hide.
