A busy time on the croft. We’ve just treated all the sheep and lambs for ticks and noticed that Seonaidh is looking a bit down. He’s got a temperature and breathing heavy so probably has an infection. We gave him a couple of jags and will put him in the byre tonight.

We also sadly lost one of the Scots Dumpy chicks. It was struggling to walk today and it seems it did something to its hip joint. The vet had a look but unfortunately couldn’t fix it so it was put to sleep. The girls buried it in the croft. We didn’t know if it was a boy or a girl, but it was known as the one from Kenya.
