Post on hold , bird in box !

Another day of grand views . Bramble is less wobbly and did a couple of short walks , we walked up the a memorial to Kitchener mainly as as n excuse for a walk .We saw a whole host of birds flying in to perch on the cliffs , at first we thought they were puffins but they stood to attention on the rock ledges and didn’t have puffin beaks do now I’m thinking that they care Razorbills who overwinter here and are pretty common . This evening, at low tide we walked over a short causeway to the Borugh of Birsay just for the pleasure of it . It is only connected to the mainland for about 4 hours around low tide. Puffins nest there but they haven’t arrived yet . We have been car park hopping and hopped over to the beach at Skara Brae to eat lunch with a sea view . We will choose one of these places to wikdcsmp At tomorrow.
I’m knitting a hat as we travel , I’ve enjoyed listening to the song of the sea as I knit.
The last action of the day was to find a post box so I could post the grandchildren their postcards . See extra !
