Last day

Helen and I had a quiet walk, while Rob and Chris went up the hill in search of their lost youth….
We found a peaceful country lane to wander up, with a little stream, baby goats, pheasants and pied flycatchers. It was yet another lovely hot day, with bumblebees buzzing around. We got to the top of the lane and had a fine view in all directions, and saw the path leading on back  towards our cottage. If we had discovered it sooner, it would have been a good long walk….
We all finished up at the Brigands Inn again, as the food was so good it would have been rude to not go back!
We have all had a great time and it has been very restful and refreshing, which was what we wanted. Maybe not youth, but we did find relaxation.
