Book Festival

I had some time off work this morning, so decided to do some shopping before leaving for holiday later this week.

On my way back, I made a detour through Charlotte Square Gardens, home of the Edinburgh International Book Festival, currently celebrating its 20th year.

I didn't spot any famous faces, although I probably wouldn't have recognised them if I had!! There were plenty of people enjoying the sun in the middle of the garden and it was pleasantly warm in the breeze.
