Storms Gone

After all the terrible weather all is now fine. Except...... The Bossess woke at 5.30 AM and declared that our bedroom window was opening. Many of the smaller windows in our apartment are electric and can be remotely opened.....if the Fire Alarm has gone off as the system loudly declared some seconds later so it was get dressed and walk down 8 floors with others from our floor while 2 fire engines sat outside. Our building has sprinklers so the chance of fire is neglishable but a false alarm is unfortunately easy especially if you are a smoker snd don't know how to cancel the alarm that you just set off .......... Sigh
It generally happens once a year at midnight.
Anyway a great day followed. (And we could use the lift to go back up)
