One Year!

I made it to one year!  I wasn't sure when I started if I would keep it up, but I have come to truly enjoy keeping an eye open for a daily Blip and hope I can keep going for many more years.  Thanks so much to EvelyneNC for introducing me to Blip.  I've been surprised to learn that while this is a photo sharing site, it's really more about interacting with people.  I've been so encouraged and inspired to see many wonderful photos from around the world and to receive supportive comments from so many lovely people!  Thanks to all of you for making this such an uplifting part of my days.  Many times a week I notice a photo, then look through someones journal and want to see more of how they see the world. There's never enough time to look at everything! And I do want to see it all! 

I've been thinking about this for many days, so I have more words than usual.  I don't always have many words to share in my comments, though I appreciate when others have something to say to me.  I have gotten braver!  And I LOVE to spread lots of stars and hearts to all the wonderful photos I see.  The stars can mean "great photo!" or "HI" or "I see you today"  or "thanks for stopping by".  And I always run out of hearts before I'm done loving things for the day, so an unoriginal but heartfelt "Beautiful" or "Wonderful photo" are my heart-equivalent : )

I intended to take a nice beach photo for today's blip, but as you can see in the extra, our May weather was not so great for that.  We did walk on the beach after work, but it was cold, gray, and raining.  My chosen blip is again Jennifer, who happened to be on the table in morning sunlight.
