Shabby Chic

It’s not just any old Friday—it's the last day before a Bank Holiday weekend! The weather is warm and sunny again, but I hear it’s going to be colder over the next few days. I was up and out early with my camera, and I captured the dawn light with this abstract image of distressed paintwork in the back garden. 

Work led with a busy morning, then segued into a quieter, better afternoon. I grabbed a cheeky Starbucks at lunch. At home, we had a very happy Dash, whose mock exams are now out of the way. Gabriel can also take a short breather before his A-level grind steps up again. They celebrated with a trip to the cinema to watch Sinners, and came home raving about how good the movie was. Raff is working on his personal statement for a university application, so I helped him with that in the evening. Later, many laughs were had during our Guild Wars 2 gaming night with Mat and the rest of the guild.
