Sparkling

The water was still and sparking this morning at Clarkes point where I took Maggy and Pi for their morning walk. There was an abundance of bin chickens and some wood ducks and Maggy found something putrid to roll in. Probably bin chicken poop. She was covered in it. I had to throw a stick into the river to get her in deep enough to wash it off.
It was then up to St Ives to meet up with T who had brought Milly down to assist some student dog trainers. I am doing the same tomorrow with Maggy. Home again and then I took mum to vote as my brother had forgotten to get her a postal vote. She is very unsteady on her feet so once this election business is over I am going to adjust her electoral register so she will automatically get postal votes.
Roast chook for dinner and then it is going to be an early night .
