That's more like it!

Woke up to sunshine, hurrah!  Rufus enjoyed his first decent mid morning walk in familiar territory. We hadn't been home long when I had surprise visitors - John and Janice ! Last seen in January in Arbroath :) So good to see my lovely friends.  After coffee and catch up we four (with Rufus of course) wandered in to the High St to visit the haberdashers before walking to Paşa restaurant on the sea front for a lovely leisurely lunch together. 

Back to the shops for a couple of errands and then what was left of the afternoon was spent at home, pottering and watching Netflix until just before 7pm when Rufus and I walked back to the sea front - this time to Taş restaurant which I haven't tried before - to meet Jackie and Nick, along with Nick's brother and partner, for dinner. A very fun evening followed where wine, beer and conversation flowed over very good fish and chips. We finally left the restaurant not long before 11pm and everyone came back to my villa for a little while - not least for John to look at the fireplace to see what I need to do in order to have a real fire.  Since Nick and Jackie moved, from Fevzi Pasa to Akbuk (as I did last year) they now only live two streets away so I'm looking forward to seeing them more often.
