Nature Diary.. A Peaceful Day

     A rather chilly day after 4 days of blue sky and very warm sunshine.
     I thought this gull looked very grand standing on the balcony surveying the world around him. He stepped on nothing, pecked at nothing, and just stood still, calm and observant. 
He was a pleasure to watch from my armchair so very near to him.
