BUTTERCROSS

Traditionally a village Butter Cross marked the spot where the weekly or daily markets were situated. Nowadays they are few and far between. I have blipped the cross in Scarborough before . . . this one hidden behind the main street in Kirkbymoorside.

Boro lost again . . . as expected . . . and hope there are major changes now that the season is over.
