Celebration meal

Wow. What a difference a day makes. Yesterday, we were down in the dumps, pondering the future. Today, the local agent's office came through for us. The PRO was able to get my visa approved. I hadn't realised G's visa had been rejected as well, so tomorrow they will work on hers.

I was so relieved that it called for a celebration. We had already arranged to have dinner with Diane, so we picked her up. The first stop was at a local jeweller who repairs while you wait—except today, he needed an hour. We then went to McCafferty's for their steak night, though I was the only one who had the steak.

PS. G spent the morning in Dubai Mall on a Frying Pan tour with other 4get-me-not friends!
