The first thing I did this morning was to apply for our Residence ID cards. G is travelling next week and ideally, should have hers with her. It all went smoothly, using WhatsApp to submit the documents.

We had haircuts scheduled in the evening. That went well, especially since we had the DSLR with us and were able to take some pictures for the hairdresser that he can use for promotions if he wants.

We then raced to Al Seef to meet with Petra and her sister. Unfortunately, traffic was really bad, and it was over an hour before we all met up. I hate to think what tourists face when they attempt to travel for meetings. It's a nightmare. Petra's sister was less than 2 km away in a mall, but couldn't get a taxi. (We are in the middle of a heatwave, so walking is not an option.)

We had a great time when we met up. The staff at Wokyo are amazing, giving us a table outside. G & I had ice cream to celebrate my YouTube channel hitting 80,000 subscribers. To say I am over the moon would be an understatement.
