Don’t Stop Me Now

Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Mini Princesses,

I was on a bus heading home from town today and just after we passed the stop prior to my intended stop, I pressed the bell and started walking downstairs.

The bus came to very sudden halt, so sudden that I almost fell coming down the stairs, and the doors opened.

The bus driver looked at me apologetically.

“I’m so sorry. I didn’t notice the light on back there. Is here ok? I’m so sorry pal.”

He (mistakenly) thought he’d missed me trying to get off earlier and I felt so bad for him, that instead of explaining, I thanked him profusely AND GOT OFF THE BUS. Like a total fanny.

Then I walked the extra distance down the road, past my stop. The one I actually wanted to go to. The one nearest my house!
