Day 1 of our journey north for Mr W's brother's funeral. Mr W has never learnt to drive a car (although he holds a full motorbike licence) and since spending a week in hospital in 2016 with stress-induced heart failure (heart now fully recovered) I can't concentrate for more than a couple of hours at a time. So despite it being for such a sad reason, we decided to do our usual thing of making the journey part of the journey.
We stopped twice on route, at Chedworth Roman Villa and then at Charlecote Park, before an overnight stop in Leicester.
