What a silly day
A silly start to the day. Having discovered that Sainsburys also had a 25% off wine offer, and also discovering that we only had one white and one rose wine left after thinking, on Thursday, that we were ok for white and rose, I decided to go on expedition to the said Sainsburys to correct the error. Of course I rescued a few extra red while I was at it. Saved another £25 plus quid.
Then I decided that potatoes growing in the ‘flower wall’ was silly enough for a Silly Saturday, so took a couple of shots. Earlier on in the year I topped up the flower wall with earth/compost from our failed potato grow bags. On Tuesday I had pulled a weed out and found a potato on the end of it, so I quickly replanted. It now has a little friend coming up beside it.
The third silliness is the gusts of wind Wednesday night had transformed our green lawn into yellow. I expect I will have to get the electric lawn rake out again . . .
And if you want one more, I did take the Mokka through the car wash again. I hope she recovers . . .
Many thanks to DavidC for hosting our first Saturday of the month tribute to Admirer.
