Unplanned

Ended up with an unplanned trip to Oban hospital. A very good friend needed an urgent X-ray and scan which can’t be done in Mull. Couldn’t get a car slot on the ferry - Calmac don’t keep any for emergencies these days (though the Calmac staff did their best to try and help, and organised a taxi at the other end). So someone with pretty compromised mobility had to struggle on and off the ferry via the car deck. But it really is a wake up call for how scarily precarious the health and travel infrastructure is now. The blip is A sharing the foot passenger ticket with me in case she was kept in.
