I've had a very enjoyable walk today with my Ramblers group, although after four days of no proper walking my knee let me know it wasn't used to it! The walk began in Winster and included Stanton Moor (blip), Earl Grey Tower, the Nine Ladies' stone circle and Robin Hood's Stride. It's a walk I've done before, and will happily do again.
I arrived in Winster rather fraught, having forgotten both that I needed to get petrol and that the tyre pressures had pinged at me on the way home from Swansea.... luckily I was able to get fuel in Hulland village, the tyre pressures will be done tomorrow. I pulled into the carpark in Winster with 10 minutes to spare, and with everyone staring at me as they hadn't seen me in this car before. Thankfully the weather was cooler today, given the ascent.
