Stepping Out

As part of Bradford 2025 Year Of Culture  walking groups have been invited to lead walks along Bradford Millennium Way - today CHA lead one of the four they’re involved with - a circular route taking in Haworth - Penistone Hill - Oxenhope and part of The Railway Children Walk which is based on the 1970 Railway Children film  - extra 

The walk coincided with Haworth Steam Punk Event - entertainment was provided by Community Choir - also in extra are people and steam train on KWVR as I approached walk start point

In other news -  Bradford City Football Club - aka The Bantams - celebrated promotion to a higher league by scoring the only goal in the last minute against Fleetwood - on the 40th anniversary match of the stadium fire - half time entertainment  was provided by Bantams Of The Opera which features 50 football fans singing opera - another project for of City Of Culture celebrations - the choir master went to the local village school

Six buses  caught increased tally to 142
