Silly Saturday

In anticipation of an early start tomorrow with the wee one I had a very slow start this morning…then did some pottering! After lunch I decided it was time to build a shelving unit for my garden shed (which I’d purchased last summer)…my productivity didn’t last too long! Box emptied, parts sorted, everything present and correct…or so I thought! Binned the packaging and set about building only to find the four corner poles were too big to be able to attach the tapered locks in order to support the shelves…such a bummer especially as I can no longer return it. I’ve contacted the supplier so hope they’ll do something but I fear they won’t. Thankful I hadn’t emptied the shed first!!

Took myself for a walk along the prom instead and had the cobwebs blown away…there was a rather strong and chilly breeze blowing the same direction the prom runs, which was fine going - coming back was a different matter all together! It was so chilly even the street furnishings had dressed for the occasion!
