Reflecting

Thank you for all your kind comments yesterday. I don’t often put personal stuff on blip, but I think yesterday was a difficult day.

My brother and I put our skills to use this morning- he cleaned the bathroom to within an inch of its life and I did some gardening. We drove down to Eastbourne and had lunch in a 100% vegan restaurant. I’m not used to so much choice! I took this photo in the toilet where there was a pen for customers to write whatever they wanted on the walls or mirror :-)

Dad was on the medical ward and looked a lot brighter. He was on IV fluids so less dehydrated, and had started eating, drinking and taking his tablets. It seems as though a urine infection had made him more confused than usual. He still needs physio to get some mobility back, and a care assessment, but I feel better about going home tomorrow after having seen him today. You can see him smiling in the extra.
