Tower Bridge...

...lifted to allow Le Bellot to sail in to the Pool of London.  She's now tied up to HMS Belfast.  Our Australian friends are on board and we are looking forward to seeing them tomorrow.

P.S. Le Bellot is named after a French naval officer and Arctic explorer.  He disappeared into an icy crevasse while helping in the search for the doomed Franklin expedition. We visited a memorial to him on Beechey Island in the North West Passage in September 2023 with these same Australian friends. His memorial is close to Franklin's memorial.
