I’ve been waiting for a call back from the Future pensions team to talk about my shortfall in National Insurance contributions. As I was very fortunate enough to take early retirement back in 2018, if I want to be entitled to the full state pension in 2027, I need to make up the ‘missing’ contributions since I left work. The callback came when I was out walking the boys but it confirmed what I’d already found out from the website. The lovely lady I spoke to called me back after lunch to put me through to the department which gave me the bank details and 18 digit reference I need to make the payment. I think it will be worth it.

Early dinner before the first of this term’s choir rehearsals. Didn’t feel much like going out after another warm day. But I was glad I went as we’ve started learning Call me by Blondie. Wonderful harmonies.
