Loch Katrine

Today we took a trip to Loch Katrine.  The weather was nice, if not as warm as earlier in the week.  Last year a outlook tower was built just near the pier, and we walked up to it, not a long walk but very steep in places.  A terrific view of the loch from the top though.

We had a snack in the very crowded cafe at the pier, and people watched for a bit as it was very busy.  People were having a cruise on the loch and then an afternoon tea, so a lot of the tables were reserved.  However, we managed to find a spare one and had our snack.

There were a lot of road workings on the way home at Stirling, and so it was rather a long drive home, but once home I soon had our steak dinner on the table, much to Bob's delight.
