Azalea

One of our azaleas in the front garden.
I've done a few jobs in the garden today but not many. Did a little weeding but there is plenty left to do. Dug up a few dandelion plants that had embedded themselves into the edges of the lawns and which seem to flower as soon as they show. All that talk about leaving the dandelions for the bees - I have been wondering if this is a load of rubbish! I have spent a fair amount of time looking at many dandelions to see how many bees are enjoying them (there are so many dandelions at present) and I have never seen a bee on one of them - even where there are vast swathes of dandelions - not a single bee to be seen!
