Job done.
Managed to mow fourth of four fields this morning despite the end to the run of glorious weather. It had rained a bit, but the ground is tinder dry, so not an issue.
It's a shame to get rid of the lovely yellow buttercups but they are not only awful strangulation weeds, but while growing they are poisonous for the horses who get diarrhoea from it. Dried in hay, it's fine.
Unexpectedly the sun came out all afternoon and so got the pool pump and equipment set up and working. Water temperature is 13⁰C! The heatpump will take ages to get it anywhere near usable, especially as the daytime max this coming week isn't due to be more than 13⁰. Quite a let down from this past week's 25⁰.
