Sewing class
I’d signed up for a class at a social enterprise collective who look to repurpose textiles and build skills among the wider community. There were only five of us and although a little too basic for me as I’ve sewed in the past, there were some great techniques on mending including felting and how to invisibly mend holes in woollen goods.
There’s another class next week where I’m hoping to repurpose a dress by changing the neckline. I can see more classes in my future!
A good walk with the boys along the railway path before dinner.
Thanks to davidc for hosting SillySaturday in memory of Admirer. I thought the blue marking on the path looked a bit like a hopscotch pattern though I suspect they’re marking for some much needed repairs. The fridge freezer in extras has been dumped in the car park.
